Voter Information 2007

You can obtain the registration form here: http://www.in.gov/sos/elections/pdfs/50504.pdf. It should be mailed to:
Monroe County Voter Registration Office
301 North College Ave., Suite 202
Bloomington, IN 47404

Registration deadline: Tuesday, October 9, 2007

If you have moved since you last voted, please fill in a new voter registration form and mail it in, else you may not be able to vote for the city council representative in your current District.

Voting Early in Person

You can vote early in-person for any reason. Early voting takes place at the Curry Building in downtown Bloomington, at the corner of 7th St. and Morton St.

Weekdays from Tuesday, Oct. 9 to Friday, Nov. 2: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Saturdays, Oct. 27 and Nov. 3: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Monday, Nov. 5: 8:00 am to 12:00 noon

Early voting is done using paper ballots, so if you don't trust the electronic voting system, this is a good option for you.

Voting Absentee

If you are unable to go to the polls on Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 6, 6 am to 6 pm), then you can apply for an absentee ballot to vote by mail. The form is available here: http://www.in.gov/sos/pdfs/abs-1.pdf.

The Monroe County Clerk's office must receive your application for an absentee ballot by October 29. Send your application to:
Monroe County Clerk
P. O. Box 547
Bloomington, IN 47402
